Please join me in thanking Recreation Director, Janet McHugh for her over 13 years of service to the town. Jan was the fearless leader of recreation and the glue that kept everyone together.
Most recently, we commend her involvement with Julie’s Jungle, a playground designed for children of all abilities. She has worked with leagues and volunteers to both grow and expand the recreational services offered to residents. She helped facilitate summer camp and Red Wing each year, including through the COVID 19 pandemic. Jan has advocated for new software systems and a website to make our services more user-friendly
Director McHugh will be missed and remembered for her dedication to our town.
On behalf of the 30,000+ residents of East Fishkill, we thank you and wish you well in your new position.
